Conquest Season Adjustment Preview

2025/03/28

Greetings, mighty Lords!
Since the launch of the <Four Seasons' Celestial Phenomena> season in 2024, the unique Military Contention Tactic and Four Seasons Rotation elements have become hot topics among all the Lords. For the current <Four Seasons' Celestial Phenomena> season, we have received feedback from Lords that some seasonal effects are not novel and interesting enough. At the same time, Military Contention Tactics, which can only be deployed at Tactic Points, face many limitations.
To enrich the battlefield experience for everyone, we will make certain adjustments to season effects and Military Contention Tactics. The details are as follows:

  [Four-Season Feature Adjustments]
Play to the weather conditions to gain an advantage on the battlefield.
The unique buff for each season in the <Four Seasons' Celestial Phenomena> season provides Lords with a unique tactical experience. The agricultural traditions of "spring growth, summer flourish, autumn harvest, and winter storage" has a great influence on ancient warfare. With the changing patterns of different celestial phenomena during the four seasons, we have made the following adjustments to the seasonal effects:

Season

Buff

Effect

Spring

Expanding and Growing

In Non-Night Battle, individual troop action Stamina consumption is reduced by 50%

Spring Fire Hazard

Fire Attack Tactic successfully unleashed in spring will spread to 1 adjacent land tile

Summer

Flourishing

Decree Consumption for Reclamation, Drill, and Development -1

Ruinous Rupture

Ruinous Rupture Tactic successfully unleashed in summer will spread to 1 adjacent land tile

Autumn

Answering to the Call

Increases the recovery speed of Reservists in the Main City by 20%

Falling Rocks

Falling Rocks Tactic successfully unleashed in autumn will spread to 1 adjacent land tile

Winter

Easy to defend, difficult to attack

Durability damage to the Force Cities, Military Facilities, and Map Buildings is reduced by 50%

Frozen River

In winter, Blizzard and Ice Rain disasters can freeze rivers, and frozen river tiles can be occupied (boundary rivers will not freeze)

Snow Seals Luoyang

Round 3 of the four seasons begins, and after entering winter, the entire commandery of Henan Intendant experiences 24 hours of Ice Rain or Blizzard weather

  [Military Contention Tactic Adjustments]
With this adjustment, we have systematically refined the Military Contention Tactics, with a focus on optimizing the unleashing mechanism and practical effects. We have removed Tactic Points, and the unleashing of Military Contention Tactics no longer relies on randomly generated Tactic Points on the map. Each Military Contention Tactic will have its own unleashing conditions. The aim is to retain the depth of tactical gameplay while significantly lowering barrier to entry to enhance the overall battlefield immersion. The specific adjustments are as follows:

Fire Attack:
After joining a Guild, you can dispatch troops to apply the tactic on enemy-owned land, Military Facilities, Map Buildings, Cities, and System City Areas. After winning the battle, Fire Attack Tactic takes effect, causing the land tile to enter Burning status. This will inflict 2% of the Current Strength as damage to up to five troops on the tile, and inflict 100 Durability damage to the tile.

Falling Rocks:
After joining an Guild, you can dispatch troops to apply the tactic on enemy-owned land adjacent to mountains, Military Facilities, Map Buildings, Cities, and System City Areas. After winning the battle, Falling Rocks Tactic takes effect, causing the land tile to enter Rugged status. This will inflict 2% of the Current Strength as damage to up to five troops on the tile, and while in Rugged status, the land cannot connect to adjacent land.

Ruinous Rupture:
After joining an Guild, you can dispatch troops to apply the tactic on enemy-owned land adjacent to rivers, Military Facilities, Map Buildings, Cities, and System City Areas. After winning the battle, Ruinous Rupture Tactic takes effect, causing the land tile to enter Stagnant Water status. This will inflict 2% of the Current Strength as damage to up to five troops on the tile, and while in Stagnant Water status, the land cannot benefit from the Garrison effects of adjacent land.

  [Map Adjustments]
The War Zone is interconnected, providing Lords with a greater strategic space. However, we have also noticed that the existence of the War Zone has intensified the competition among Guilds in terms of advancement speed, turning the original strategic layout based on map connection into a race to access important strategic points. To simplify the Season gameplay and enhance the strategic variations brought by map connection, we will remove the special settings of War Zone, Fight Hard, Altar, and High Priest in this adjustment.

Meanwhile, to better complement the seasonal effects and Military Contention Tactics, this map adjustment adds more mountainous and aquatic terrains within the City Range of the State Capitals of the Thirteen States, Resource State Commandery Capitals, and some Birth State Commandery Capitals, to give more strategic depth to the battlefield.
The above adjustments will take effect in the new Four Seasons' Celestial Phenomena Season after the update on April 2.
After this adjustment, the flexibility of Military Contention Tactics on the battlefield will be further enriched, and the strategic dimensions of the seasonal effects will become more diverse. We hope this adjustment will bring Lords a purer and more interesting battlefield experience. Make full use of the geographic advantage and seize the moment on your pave to glory!
