Since the Hundred Schools Heroes entered the world, the chessboard of the realm has grown more unpredictable, and the principles of offense and defense have found new interpretations. You, the Lords, have planned strategies and maneuvered across battlefields, showcasing your exceptional talents in the game of war.
Now that the Hundred Schools Heroes have been introduced for some time, we have received considerable feedback from Lords. To further enrich the compositions for the Hundred Schools Heroes and to optimize their progression, we bring you a brand new Hundred Schools Hero—Tao Yuanming—along with a series of functional updates.

[Returning Home: The Old Master Arrives]
After the update on April 29, Lords can participate in the "Brand New Hundred Schools Hero Arrival" event to obtain the brand new Hundred Schools Hero [Jin - Tao Yuanming - Archer] For Free.
Tao Yuanming, a native of Xunyang in Lujiang, styled Yuanliang. Also known as Qian, styled Yuanming. Great-great-grandson of Jin Grand Marshal Tao Kan. He was modest and noble, erudite and skilled in writing, free-spirited and unrestrained, content and at ease, respected by his fellow villagers. He authored "Biography of Master Five Willows" as a self-portrait. He once served as the Magistrate of Pengze and would not surrender his principles for coin. In the second year of Yixi (406 AD), he resigned from office and returned to his hometown, composing "Returning Home" to express his resolve. Later, the government repeatedly summoned him, but he firmly declined. He lived in seclusion in his village, sometimes farming, sometimes drinking, sometimes composing poetry. He wrote the prose "The Peach Blossom Spring," depicting an ideal society isolated from the world, with beautiful surroundings, equality for all, and joyful contentment.
In this event, Lords can experience Tao Yuanming's life through the Hundred Schools Biography, making key choices for him. Based on the Lord's choices, Tao Yuanming will receive permanent attribute enhancements. Lords can also try out Tao Yuanming's performance in battle through Variety Training.
[Optimized Experience, Aiding Progression]
Following the introduction of the Hundred Schools Heroes, we received many optimization suggestions from Lords regarding them. In this update, we will also implement a series of optimizations for the progression and usage experience of the Hundred Schools Heroes.
First, in response to the feedback from Lords regarding the desire to accelerate the progression of the Hundred School Heroes, we will further increase the ways to obtain Insight. In addition to the recent "Three Heroes Against Lu Bu" event, which provides a large amount of Stratagem Insight, we will also further enhance the daily obtainable Insight quantity. After this update:
· The Attribute Insight obtainable from the highest difficulty of the daily Rehearsal will be increased from 24 points/day to 48 points/day, and the Stratagem Insight will be increased from 24 points/day to 32 points/day.
· Two new products, "Attribute Insight * 500" and "Stratagem Insight * 500," will be added to the Season Marketplace each season. They can be purchased for 50 Honor each, with a purchase restriction of 1 per item per season.
· During the Hundred School Heroes Arrival event, Lords can consume any 5★ Hero Card to redeem Insight. Each 5★ Hero Card can be redeemed for 100 points of either Attribute Insight or Stratagem Insight, up to 500 points for each type of Insight.
Increased Insight rewards from daily Rehearsal
Second, in response to the feedback from Lords regarding the user experience of the Hundred School Heroes, we will also introduce a series of optimizations. After this update:
· When a Hundred Hero serves as a Deputy General, they will no longer consume Stamina along with the Commander-in-Chief, nor will they share the EXP gained by the Commander-in-Chief. After appointing a Deputy General, the Hundred Hero's level will be temporarily raised to the Commander-in-Chief's level.
· After refining/studying a Hundred Hero's attributes or Stratagems a certain number of times, a batch refinement/study function will be unlocked. Lords can set their desired refinement/study targets, eliminating the burden of repetitive operations.
[Travel the World, Forge a Legend]
After the update on April 29, we will also launch the brand new event "Travel the Thirteen States." During the event, Lords can consume "Inquiry Tokens" to randomly journey through the Thirteen States. Based on the state the Lord visits, the system will award corresponding prizes. Inquiry Tokens can be obtained for free through the "Tao Yuanming's Arrival" event and daily logins, or purchased by consuming Jade or Gilt Jade. Through this event, Lords can earn a large number of rewards including selectable Experience, Recruitment Letters, Gold Summoning Talismans, and Supervisory Orders. After completing all rounds of the journey, any remaining purchased Inquiry Tokens will be refunded to the Lord as Jade or Gilt Jade consumed during their purchase.
If a Lord journeys to Sili, they will immediately receive the grand prize for Sili along with all prizes from other states that have not yet been obtained, and then proceed to the next round of the journey. In each round, a Lord will not enter the same state twice; in other words, the probability of ultimately stopping in Sili will gradually increase with each journey.
[Adjustments to the Effects of the Hundred Schools Hero Zhang Gong's Entries]
After this update, we will adjust the effects of some entries in the Stratagem Research for [Wei - Zhang Gong - Cavalry]:
1. Frustration Series
Frustration - Broken Enemy
Original Effect (Highest Grade)
Reduces the Defense and SPD of an enemy group by 3.5 (affected by ATK) for 2 turns.
Adjusted Effect (Highest Grade)
Reduces the Defense and SPD of a single enemy unit by 7.0 (affected by ATK) for 2 turns.
Frustration - Crushing Force
Original Effect (Highest Grade)
Launches 2-4 attacks against a single enemy unit within a distance of 4 (DMG Rate 28.0%).
Adjusted Effect (Highest Grade)
Has a 50% chance to launch up to 2-4 attacks against a single enemy unit within a distance of 4 (DMG Rate 35.0%). Each attack's activation is judged independently.
* The attribute reduction effects, activation chances, and DMG Rates of multiple Frustration - Broken Enemy and Frustration - Crushing Force entries will be added together before taking effect, consistent with the online rules.
2. Bladepoint Series
Bladepoint - Crushing Force
Original Effect (Highest Grade)
Launches 1 attack against an enemy group (DMG Rate 42.0%).
Adjusted Effect (Highest Grade)
Has a 50% chance to launch 1 attack against an enemy group (DMG Rate 53.0%). The activation chance is judged independently for each target.
* The activation chances and DMG Rates of multiple Bladepoint - Crushing Force entries will be added together before taking effect, consistent with the online rules.
3. Military Drill Series
Military Drill - Crushing Force
Original Effect (Highest Grade)
Launches 1 attack against the single enemy unit with the lowest DEF (DMG Rate 53.0%).
Adjusted Effect (Highest Grade)
Has a 50% chance to launch 1 attack against the single enemy unit with the lowest DEF (DMG Rate 63.0%).
* The activation chances and DMG Rates of multiple Military Drill - Crushing Force entries will be added together before taking effect, consistent with the online rules.
4. Fortify Series
Fortify - Crushing Force
Original Effect (Highest Grade)
Launches 1 attack against a single enemy unit (DMG Rate 63.0%).
Adjusted Effect (Highest Grade)
Has a 50% chance to launch 1 attack against a single enemy unit (DMG Rate 77.0%).
* The activation chances and DMG Rates of multiple Fortify - Crushing Force entries will be added together before taking effect, consistent with the online rules.
The above adjustments will take effect across all seasons after the update on April 29, 2026. For servers launched before 12:00 on April 27 (UTC+9), the following effects will be available from April 29, 2026, 12:00 to May 6, 2026, 12:00 (UTC+9): Lords who reset the Main Stratagem or discard/dismantle the Stratagem for [Wei - Zhang Gong - Cavalry] will receive a 100% refund of Stratagem EXP, and can inherit the Hero level once. The target Hero receiving the inheritance can reach up to level 40 after the inheritance.
