Looking back to the past, countless Lords challenged each other in the world of INFINITE BORDERS, vying for cities and states in a bid to conquer the world. In the tumultuous times of the late Han Dynasty, our Lords rush headlong into battle, fighting in the North and the South. Fortunately, there are Preparation Areas that serve to transfer you between seasons, allowing you a moment of respite in your long journey to catch up with the friends you have made along the way. After a good rest, reunite with your companions and continue fighting for glory in a new season of conquest.
Now, in order to let our Lords have a long-term abode for themselves, we will be releasing the Manor System in the Preparation Area: a piece of land that belongs exclusively to each Lord, a roof under which many fellows can gather, and a cozy home above all.
Manor Description
A manor is a patch of land in the Preparation Area that Lords may occupy over a long period of time. Even when they return to the Conquest Season, their Manor will be preserved in the Preparation Area, a place of permanent residence that awaits its Lord's return.
Commanderies and Counties in each state have Manors that Lords may purchase in a variety of styles that will satisfy different needs. There are small, exquisite cottages and expansive, ornate gardens; the seclusion of those near the mountain and the calm of those by the river; the bustle of small towns around cities and the tranquility of manors near points of interest.
After a Lord acquires a Manor, it will become the Lord's Main City in the Preparation Area. Lords can tender invitations to guests and organize banquets for friends and fellows in their Manor. They can even edit the appearance of the Manor depending on its physical location, expressing their personality and style. Lords who do not own a Manor will continue to have a Temporary Camp as their Main City when they return to the Preparation Area after a Season.
Purchasing a Manor
After the Manor System is implemented, Lords in the Preparation Area and Conquest Seasons may view Manor purchase-related information in [Lord Manual - Manor]. Every day, Manors in the Commanderies and Counties of certain states will be listed for sale. Lords may browse them before making a formal purchase.
Manors in various Commanderies and Counties will be available for reservation at a fixed time each day. During the reserve period, Lords may bid on Manors that they desire. After the reserve period is over, the Lord with the highest bid wins the corresponding Manor. If no bids are placed on a Manor, Lords can directly purchase it after the reserve period.
Manors start out with a base price of 1000 Gilt Jades. Each Lord may only own 1 Manor at any given time. Purchasing a new Manor will automatically abandon the old one, so please make your purchases prudently.
Guest Check-in
"Neighbors who get along well can share in each other's joy." Inviting your friends to be neighbors will be a source of delight. In INFINITE BORDERS, Lords can invite their friends as guests to reside in their Manor. The guests will also be able to treat the Manor as their Main City in the Preparation Area. Lords can edit unique nicknames for their guests, so guests may acquaint themselves with each other.
Lords may invite friends from the Preparation Area or Conquest Season to be guests in their Manor. The larger the Manor, the more guests can be accommodated. There can be at least 1 guest and at most 15. Lords can select the Manors that best suit their preferences and host their guests in the distinctive settings of their Manors.
Manor Popularity
"Banquets and conversation are both time of pleasure". A Manor isn't simply an ice-cold plot of land and residence, but instead a place where Lords and guests live day-to-day. Every Manor starts out with an initial Popularity value. Manor owners and guests may log in daily to increase the Manor's Popularity. If a banquet is hosted at the Manor, the Manor's Popularity will increase dramatically depending on attendance.
On the other hand, if neither the owner nor guests log in on one day, the Manor's Popularity will drop. Note: If the owner and guests do not log in for a prolonged period (roughly 50-90 days, depending on the initial Popularity value), the Manor's Popularity may drop to 0. At that point, the Manor will be reclaimed by the system owing to long-term disuse.
Lords may set custom appearances for their Manor and use appearance components to raise their Manor's Popularity. The Manor has the same appearance as the City, but some appearance components may only be used in the Manor or City. Adding or removing appearance components from a Manor will increase or decrease its Popularity.
Preparation Area
After the Manor System is updated, whether or not Lords of the Conquest Season have purchased Manors, they will be able to return to their Manor or directly go to the Preparation Area to check out the map and available Manors via [Lord Manual - Manor]. They can host banquets at their Manor or attend others' banquets; they can view other Lords and add them as friends, or simply appreciate the decor of various Manors throughout the land.
Heading to the Preparation Area will not impact the current Season. Lords can return to their current Season at any time. Lords who are in the Preparation Area temporarily cannot access registration or other information, nor can they configure troops or March. Lords can enter and exit the Preparation Area without worry.
We thank all Lords in INFINITE BORDERS for their endeavors. We hope that Manors will provide a sense of belonging to Lords in the world of INFINITE BORDERS, bringing joy and satisfaction. We hope that all Lords may find their dream Manors, and that they may develop stronger bonds in INFINITE BORDERS. The Manor System will go live in the Preparation Area after the routine maintenance on January 3, 2024 for all Lords of the Conquest Season. We wish all Lords an enjoyable gaming experience.
