Season Management Experience Optimization Preview

2024/08/28

 Greetings, mighty Lords!
In order to give Lords more choices during force expansion and lower the threshold for fighting many battles alongside allies, we have tried many functional adjustments in some seasons over the past year to optimize the force management experience in the seasons. Based on the feedback from Lords during this period, we will adjust Decree consumption and individual halt rules after the maintenance update on September 4, and promote some season-exclusive features to all seasons, including: Land Development Tactic, Garrison Restore Rules Adjustment, and Reservist Restore Rules Adjustment.

  [Decree Consumption Adjustment]
To ensure that Lords do not worry about Decrees when managing individual seasons and completing Alliance strategic quests, and to have enough Decrees for Reclamation, Drill, and Land Development, we will cancel the consumption of Decrees for constructing military facilities outside the city, including Fortresses, Large Fortresses, Scout Camps, Reservists Camps, and Warehouses. Among them, the Durability Cap of Fortresses and some buildings will be reduced after the adjustment, and the maximum number of shared Fortresses that a single force can unlock simultaneously will be increased.
Meanwhile, constructing Conquest Season special buildings will not consume Decrees, including Lineage Fortress (Rise of the Clan), Armament Battalion (Rise of the Clan), and Altar (Four Seasons' Celestial Phenomena).

  [Land Development Tactic]
In <Flames of War Spread Far and Wide> of the Conquest Season, we have provided the experience of upgrading low-level land to high-level one through the Development Tactic, allowing each player to increase their Force Value and Resource Yield according to their season management progress, on which positive feedback has been received from Lords. We will promote the Development Tactic to all seasons, allowing Lords to use it on any non-Truce Lv.2 land they occupy, dispatch troops to develop it, and engage in battle with the Lv.5 Land Garrison. Upon winning the battle, the land development will succeed, upgrading the land to Lv.5 and providing corresponding yield and Force Value. Among them, the development policy will be unlocked at 4000 Fame in S1 and S2, while it will be unlocked by default in the Conquest Season.

  [Garrison Restore Rules Adjustment]
To enhance the experience of Lords during the Reclamation Period and improve the fault tolerance rate when troops engage in battle with the Land Garrison, we will promote the Land Garrison Restore Rules from the <Legends Against Dong> season to all seasons. After the maintenance update, within 10 minutes after the force's troops engage in battle with the land or battlefield, the Land Garrison will retain the battle results and will not recover wounded troops. During this period, Lords can decide whether to send troops to fight the remnant troops of the Land Garrison based on the battle results. If the countdown ends and the land is still not captured, the Land Garrison will restore to full Strength, and the Troops Deployment will remain unchanged. The deployment refresh rules will still be maintained as the deployment refreshes when the land ownership changes and at a fixed time daily.
Meanwhile, when a force's troop engages in battle outside its affiliated building for the first time, if any Hero's strength is less than 8% of the enemy troop's total Strength, that Hero will suffer from Low Morale (Morale = 0) in this battle. Subsequent battles will not be affected. It should be noted that this rule applies whether the battle is between a force and the system or between forces.

  [Individual Halt Function]
To optimize the expansion experience of season management, we will enable the entire map's individual territory halt function in all seasons and introduce a new initial policy "Territory Halt":
· Troops can be ordered to halt on the target territory when performing March, Reclamation, Drilling, Raids, Tactic and other commands. They can then start from that territory to other land tiles to execute new commands.
· The halted troop's battle Morale is only affected by the distance between the location of battle and the facilities to which the troops belong to. Changes to Morale caused by battle during this period will be dispelled when halted.
· Once the Kingdom is established within a Commandery under Kingdom Protection, troops cannot halt when other Alliances, Kingdoms, or unaffiliated forces are Marching.

Meanwhile, the descriptions related to halting only within the supply range will be removed from the in-game descriptions of the existing "Supply" policy and building supply range rules.

  [Reservists Recovery Rules Adjustment]
To provide Lords with a smoother early-season management experience, we will increase the initial recovery speed of reservists in cities, reducing the waiting time for the first Troop Draft.
After the update, the basic recovery speed of reservists in cities will be increased to 300 reservists per hour, and the Reservists Recovery Time reduction per level of the City Reserves Barracks will be adjusted to 3%.

The above changes will take effect on all season servers after the maintenance update on September 4. Meanwhile, considering the brand new season management experience launched this time and the feedback from Lords on the performance of some Heroes and Stratagems exceeding expectations during the Force Expansion phase, we plan to adjust the battle-related content in the regular balance adjustments at the end of the year. If you have any suggestions or feedback during your gaming experience, you can also provide feedback via the in-game Customer Service Center. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all Lords for your continued support for INFINITE BORDERS!
